Mental health is very important; this is a topic that became important to me particularly after retiring. When I was working I had my daily routine which kept my mind busy and I pretty much figured I had nothing to worry about mentally. But as I moved into my retirement years, even though music does keep me somewhat busy, there was now so much more inactive time that I needed to find other activities for stimulation. I needed to make sure I got off the couch rather than become a part of it! Traditional suggestions for mental health don’t appeal to me and I found an article by Camille Johnson to be of great benefit. I have posted it here on my website for others to hopefully also benefit from it: Unconventional Ways to Improve Your Mental Health.
